Resolved issues

The following technical issues have been resolved in ColorProof Please note that the list describes the original problem, not the solution.

Job in status 'Waiting for Printer' even though printer was ‘ready
Jobs in the ColorProof job list were in status Waiting for printer, even though the Epson printer was in status ready. The jobs were not printed. [03939, 03894, 03935, 03891, 03881, 03856, 03954, 04257, 04270, 04321, 04446, 04587, 04657]

Epson Stylus Pro 4900 - Fatal error when awakening from sleep mode
Epson Stylus Pro 4900 with energy star board showed intermediately Fatal Error when the printer was awakening from sleep mode. [03901,02652, UK-8228]

Epson Stylus Pro x900 - ACW could not start when automatic nozzle clean was ON
The auto calibration wizard did not start when the maintenance functionality 'Print nozzle Pattern in job, after images' or 'automatic nozzle clean' in the calibration settings was activated. [03900, 3499, 04107, 04066]

Automatic Calibration Check was performed a 2nd time at restart of computer
The calibration control strip was printed a second time at the same day after PC restart. [04212]

Automatic calibration check was delayed
The scheduled automatic calibration check was not printed exactly at the defined time. [03847]

Generated workflow jobs had print sequence "From input file (XMP)" instead of "From OpenColor ProofStandard"
Generated workflow jobs behaved differently after the update of 5.10.0 to 5.10.1. Workflows in which no print order was defined, generated jobs with the print order "From input file (XMP)", whereas before, in version 5.1.0, generated jobs had the sequence "From OpenColor ProofStandard" if the print order was not defined in the workflow. [04465, 04515]

Manual job: print sequence was "From Input file (XMP)" instead of "From OpenColor ProofStandard"
The print sequence in manual OpenColor jobs was "From Input file (XMP)" even though the PDF did not contain XMP info. [04659]

Channel mapping issues
Some remote jobs with channel mapping rules were not generated on the FTP and did not appear in the event viewer. [02818]
The ink sequence of the calculated OpenColor profile was wrong for some PDFs when using a workflow. It was correct in a manual job. [03863, 04169]
Channel mapping rule set was not applied in dotproof jobs. [02953, 03917, 04167, 03758]
Some 1-bit files were not processed when a channel mapping rule was activated. [04083]
The Print Order changed from 'From OpenColor Proof Standard' to 'From Input File (XMP)' after mapping undefined channels to a db3 spot color. [UK-9572]
Channel mapping was not applied to single separation Esko Len with XMP. [03696]

Black or inverted prints
Even though the preview of the OpenColor job was correct, the whole proof or some channels were printed black (or inverted). [03845, 04696, UK-9258, 03937, 04220, 04530, 22554, 04193]

Fill Gaps area was black when using ICC-based standard
The gaps between images, which should be filled with the same color as the paper tint, were filled with solid black if an ICC-based standard was used. [UK-9105]

Missing OpenColor channels displayed with ICC icon
Channels which were missing in the OpenColor project were marked as ICC channels in the channel list of the manual job . [04035, 02828, 04352, 04480, 04625]

"Nesting error: OpenColor profile does not match the required inks"
SmartHotfolders with db3 spot color channel mapping ended with the error message: "Nesting error: OpenColor profile does not match the required inks" [21960]

New Channel mapping rule set not saved if color is selected from the list
A new rule with the action "define spot color" and a color selected from the drop down list, could not be saved. [04161]

1bit Tiffs - Technical error after remapping channels
Manual channel mapping of multiple selected 1bit images in the manual job led to a Technical error. [03804]

OpenColor job - Error initializing printer queue
Jobs with OpenColor ProofStandard and disabled, undefined channels, were not printed. The workaround was to map the missing inks to any value before unticking the channel. [UK-9199]
OpenColor jobs with Len files and a 1bit control strip ended with the error mesage: „Error initializing printer queue [Time][Date]“. [03338]

Unable to edit OpenColor ProofStandard: 'Your license only permits a local OpenColor connection'
No changes were possible to the OpenColor ProofStandards in the ColorProof database. The error message was: 'Your license only permits a local OpenColor connection. (...)' - even though the OpenColor was installed on the same system. [03810, 03934]

Automatic Image Placement - Overlapping images
Under certain circumstances the automatic image placement in the manual job led to overlapping images. [03671]

Workflow with copies and nesting
If ' 4x copies per job' was defined in a workflow with nesting, the workflow generated 4 jobs with 4 images (instead of 1 job with 4 images). The history however only listed 1 job. [04262]

Custom MXD - Workflow error
The workflow was in error status if -instead of a ProofStandard- the settings custom and a DotProof profile were defined. The workaround was to create a custom ProofStandard in the ColorProof database. [UK-8553]

PDF not recognized
A PDF with layers was not recognized. [03840]
A PDF could not be loaded: "One or more files could not be recognized as image files ...." [03921, 03871]

Version number of environment backup
The environment backup of a patched ColorProof version (e.g., patched from version showed the wrong file name (e.g. instead of [03906]
