Release of GMG ColorPlugin 1.3.1 – Service Release

Release date
GMG ColorPlugin 1.3.1.8/9 has been released today, Thursday, August 23, 2018.


Licensing

GMG ColorPlugin is licensed as a 12-month subscription-based product.

GMG ColorPlugin is available in 3 license types:
• GMG ColorPlugin Standard
• GMG ColorPlugin Pro
• GMG ColorPlugin Packaging Pro

Supported operating systems and Adobe Photoshop versions

Setup

  1. Please make sure that Port 80 is cleared for inbound and outbound communication in your Firewall / Proxy Server for the application Photoshop.
  2. Download the installer package from our website.
  3. Run the installer.


License activation
Click here for instructions how to request and activate the GMG ColorPlugin license. See  chapter 1.3 ‘Starting and Licensing the Plugin'.
 

New features

New conversion profiles

The following profiles have been added to the list of CMYK to CMYK conversion profiles available to GMG ColorPlugin:
  • GRACoL 2013 Coated (CRPC 6)  to PSO Coated v3 (51)
  • PSO Uncoated v3  to GRACoL 2013 Uncoated (CRPC 3)
 

Resolved issues

The following technical issue has been resolved in ColorPlugin 1.3.1.8/9.

Metadata removed by MinDot Preview
Using the "MinDot Preview" feature removed the meta data (creator, keywords, etc.) from the image file. [US-21464]

In addition to this issue, GMG ColorPlugin contains numerous further fixes and improvements.
 

End of Life

Please note that we will no longer provide bug fixes, maintenance releases, workarounds, or patches for bugs found in GMG ColorPlugin 1.3.0.50 or older.
